OSICON provides open source intelligence, primary research and consulting services in Germany and across Europe.

Since 2002, OSICON founder Andreas Romppel works for corporate clients and CI consultancies in national and international projects, supported by a network of industry experts, desk researchers and analysts.

He is one of the founders and current president of the German CI Forum (DCIF) which represents the Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) in Germany and volunteered as a member of the conference committee for the European SCIP conference in Amsterdam in 2009.

Mr Romppel has written a Financial Times Germany bestselling book on CI. He is a member of the visiting faculty of the ZfU International Business School in Thalwil, Switzerland, and provides workshops and management seminars.

As a regular attendee of international SCIP conferences he is keeping pace with latest developments, methods, and trends in the discipline.
